OSO Finalists

Meet the Finalists for OSO’s Next Music Director

Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia has the privilege to host the four finalists for the Olympia Symphony Orchestras’ next music director. The finalists each rehearse the Conservatory Orchestra during their time in Olympia. The community is invited to attend, but seating is limited. If you are interested in attending, please email studentorchestras@gmail.com.

We are delighted to host the last finalist, Adam Johnson, and watch him work with the student musicians Sunday, May 8, 4:40-5:20pm. Please be sure to contact us if you are interested in saving a seat to watch the rehearsal!

SOGO Student Soloists for the March 6, 4pm concert at the Washington Center are Gabe Ong, oboe and Ryan Kapsandy, bassoon. We took some time and interviewed them on a number of questions regarding their upcoming performance and what sage advice they might have for younger musicians. A Clear View of the Holidays

Join us for the SOGO Holiday Brass Show under the direction of Greg Allison. The brass ensemble will perform traditional and not-so-traditional holiday favorites, including a sing-along (with masks), and of course, Clement Moore’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas ala brass style. Also joining in the fun will be vocalist Nadine Bozeman and Elizabeth Weisenfeld, emcee.

TICKETS: $8 Students | $13 Adults/Seniors | $35 Family (2 Adult 2+children)
