Experience a SOGO Rehearsal

What: Bring your instrument and music stand.  Come to play along with friends learning concert music.  Parents are also invited to observe.

Where: Jefferson M.S. (side entrance off of Conger St – watch for SOGO signage)

When: Sunday, January 8, 2023

  • 2:45-4:15pm Debut Orchestra – 2nd year playing (elementary and early middle school)
  • 4:30-6:15pm Academy Orchestra – intermediate (middle school – early high school)
  • 4:30-6:30pm Conservatory Orchestra – advanced (high School – college)
  • (Conservatory and Academy BRASS players also participate in the SOGO Brass Choir 3:30-4:15pm)

March Concert

Washington Center for the Performing Arts | 512 Washington St SE, Olympia

Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia presents our winter season concert featuring student clarinet soloist Alessandro Martinez, and local composer James DeHart. This concert will also showcase our amazing Teaching Artists performing An American in Paris by George Gershwin. The Conservatory Orchestra will close out the concert with Finlandia by Jean Sibelius.

Messiah Sing-Along

Come to sing or come to listen to the 22nd annual Community Messiah Sing-Along

MONDAY, DECEMBER 19, 7PM
Washington Center for the Performing Arts.
FREE and open to the public
Donations are gladly accepted

Let the glory of Handel’s Messiah transport you from the cares of this world. Handel famously secluded himself for 23 days to create this inspirational work. Become part of a tradition stretching back hundreds of years as audiences of all ages come to listen or come to sing.
