Are your friends interested in SOGO?

If you have a friend that you think would love SOGO, we’d love to have them join us for a FREE SIDE-BY-SIDE rehearsal on Sunday, November 12 at Jefferson Middle School in West Olympia. Invite them to experience a full orchestra rehearsal and see what SOGO is all about!

The FABBA Show feat. the SOGO Quartet

Olympia area high school students and SOGO Conservatory members Alluzai Villanueva, Carol Gao, Michelle Hegewald and Andy Gorrell will perform on stage with the FABBA Show! The FABBA show pays homage to 70’s Swedish hitmakers ABBA.

“The producers of The FABBA Show approached us looking for a talented ensemble of high school students which could hold their own with a rock band in front of an audience,” said SOGO Ensemble Coordinator Mary Jo Rydholm,“We are very excited to showcase our students’ musical talent on a large-scale stage for all to enjoy.”

Come out for a night of music, dancing, and white glittery jumpsuits! Tickets can be purchased through the Washington Center.

We are having some fun at LoveOly Summer Fest this Saturday. Join us as we present Conduct Us at 5th Ave & Washington St in downtown Olympia. SOGO and Olymphony Symphony Orchestra musicians will be performing, and you can have an opportunity to conduct an orchestra! Fulfill that dream of yours to stand up in front of an orchestra and wave a baton (we’ll provide you the baton).

The event is free, so we look forward to seeing you there!
